With the holiday season upon us, Lubbock Meals on Wheels is asking members of the Lubbock community to donate a little bit of their time by delivering food boxes on December 17, 2018. The people who receive these meals are homebound, elderly, or disabled, and getting food boxes delivered to their doors by friendly volunteers will go a long way in brightening their day.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please call Meals on Wheels' office at 806.792.7971! There are four pick-up times for volunteers: 1:15, 1:30, 1:45, and 2:00 pm. When you get to Meals on Wheels, instructions are as follows:
Pull up to the west side of our building; go all the way back as close to alley as possible. Staff and helpers will meet you at your vehicle with instructions and will load your vehicles. You exit out through the alley (it is paved).
