Our Kiwanis Club of Lubbock sets-up the American Flags that everyone sees at commercial businesses, banks, and public institutions during the 5 federally recognized Flag Holidays: Memorial Day-Monday May 27th; Flag Day-Friday June 14th; Independence Day-Thursday July 4th; Labor Day-Monday September 2nd; and Veterans Day-Monday November 11th.
We need volunteers to help us set-up flags on holiday mornings: 7-9 a.m., and/or to take-down flags from 6-8 p.m.
We now have 6 routes in Lubbock that often need a volunteer or two to assist our Kiwanis Club members. If you volunteer for a morning set-up. We will provide you with a Kiwanis Safety Vest and a pair of gloves.
