Volunteers are needed to assist in various roles for the Catholic Charities of Lubbock Run to Remember, a 5K run and fun walk in remembrance of our neighbors on the South Plains who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, hunger, crisis, and trauma. The event will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 at Catholic Charities (102 Avenue J.). The running and walking routes will pass through Lubbock’s historic Guadalupe Neighborhood, Atzlan Park, and Mackenzie Park.
Volunteers will assist with set up, clean up, water stations, parking direction, and monitoring the course. Ages 18 & up are welcome to volunteer. (Volunteers 12 & up must be accompanied by an adult.)
