Description

Volunteering as a GED tutor is an excellent way to give back to the community while gaining valuable experience and skills. We are looking for volunteers to help our GED students at UMC. The classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Helping individuals earn their GED directly impacts their lives by opening up opportunities for higher education, better job prospects, and increased self-esteem. Volunteering as a GED tutor can be incredibly rewarding. Witnessing the progress and success of your students can bring a sense of fulfillment and pride. Increasing the number of individuals with GEDs in the community can lead to a more skilled and educated workforce, ultimately benefiting the local economy and society.
