About:
We are needing volunteers to help judge robotics teams for the West Texas Regional Championship on February 25th. The best teams from the Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, El Paso, San Angelo, and Abilene areas will be coming together to compete to earn a spot at the state and world championship!
Those who have questions about volunteering can reach to our FIRST Senior Mentor Garrett Smith at gsmith@firstinspires.org.
Note, we do our best to assign people to their desired roles when available, however sometimes we have to re-assign volunteers depending on event needs and time.

About FIRST Tech Challenge:
FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics program where teams of middle and high school students come together to design, build, wire, program, and market robots in order to score points and earn awards at robotics competitions. These robotics competitions contain a robot game that changes every year, bringing in new science and engineering challenges that the students must overcome.
Through FIRST Tech Challenge, students learn valuable soft and technical skills that are in demand by the companies and colleges of today.
