Be a part of one of the Science Spectrum's most exciting winter events! Volunteers will be helping out with educational activities, holiday crafts, cookie decorating, and other fun activities! This is an easy and exciting opportunity to get involved with our annual Holiday Wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 12th!
Activities include:
• Take your Picture with Santa! (BYOC- Bring your own camera!)
• Visit the Science Spectrum’s Giant Christmas Tree
• Decorate and Eat your own Holiday Cookies
• Visit the Special 5 & Under Area at the North Pole Party Place
• Check Out “Cool” Winter Science Experiments
• Make your own Holiday Crafts
• FREE Hot Chocolate or Cider
Volunteer Shifts:
9:30am-1:30pm (15 Volunteers)
1:00pm-4:00pm (15 Volunteers)
The volunteer shifts are is from 9:30am-1:30pm & 1:00pm & 4:00pm. Please, do not sign up for this event if you cannot work the entire time. It is important that we have roles accounted for the duration of the event and if people must leave, it may make things unavailable to the public, which can be upsetting to patrons.
Dress Code: Everyone should be in closed-toe shoes. Please, no shorts and be sure that all shirts/blouses are appropriate for a family environment both in style, graphics, text, etc. Feel free to wear holiday attire or shirts to promote your school & group! When you arrive, you will be given a name tag. Please, wear this at all times to let visitors know that you are a volunteer with the event!
