Prevention Starts at Home: Family Summit & Resource Fair is a family-friendly community event hosted by Buckner to kick off Child Abuse Prevention Month. Families will enjoy engaging activities for children, informative presentations, and access to local resources that support safe, healthy homes.
Set-up volunteers play an important role in preparing by helping ensure the space is welcoming, organized, and ready for families and community partners.
Monday Tasks (3/23): Volunteers will assist with creating name tags and stuffing gift bags for families, speakers, and vendors.
Friday Tasks (3/27): Volunteers will help prepare the event space by arranging signage and décor, organizing and placing gift bags, setting up tables and decor, and clearing and organizing designated areas.
This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy behind-the-scenes support, light physical activity, and helping bring an event together. Instructions and supplies will be provided.
