A Merry Little Christmas on MLK Blvd – Volunteers Needed!

Real Deal Cares is partnering with Family Dollar to bring a joyful, family-centered holiday celebration to East Lubbock — and we need amazing volunteers to help make it happen! Join us for A Merry Little Christmas on MLK Blvd and help spread holiday cheer to our community.
Volunteer Roles Needed
Photo & Print Assistant
- Take photos of Santa with families
- Assist with printing and distributing photos
- Help families pose and keep the line moving
Activity & Craft Station Assistants
- Support kids at the cookie decorating station
- Assist with Christmas card decorating
Hot Cocoa Station Helper
- Manage hot cocoa setup
- Pour and serve warm drinks to families
Cupcake Distribution Volunteer
- Hand out cupcakes to children and families
Holiday Giveaway Helper
- Pass out items such as coloring books and small gifts
Setup Crew
- Set up tables, chairs, and Christmas décor
- Assist with prepping craft stations
- Help block off designated parking lot areas
- Support teardown/cleanup after the event
Event Content Volunteer
- Capture random photos and short videos throughout the event
- Highlight joyful moments, families, volunteers, and activities
Who We’re Looking For
Friendly, energetic volunteers who love serving the community and helping kids have a magical Christmas experience. Individuals, groups, students, or organizations are all welcome!
