Description

Tiny Tots is a storytime event designed for children under age 5 and their parents. Every week, families receive one new book after it has been read aloud. The children enjoy singing songs and discussing the story. Tiny Tots is held at two locations—Groves Library and Godeke Library—every Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30.

Storytime is a vital part of early childhood development. It plays a key role in nurturing language skills, imagination, creativity, and cognitive abilities by introducing children to new vocabulary, sentence structures, and narrative concepts. Additionally, it helps enhance listening skills and concentration as children actively engage with stories. Storytime lays a strong foundation for literacy and communication skills, which are crucial for future learning and success.
