Brighten the Day of Those We Serve!
During this time our normal interaction with those that we serve has become very limited. Please help us make a difference in the lives of those in our community that are homebound, elderly, or disabled. Here are a few projects that you and your family can do for Family Volunteer Day right from your home. These will have a meaningful impact and brighten someone's day! (Please do not use glitter for any projects)
- Homemade Greeting Cards, Holiday Cards and Birthday Cards - Please help bless and encourage those that are homebound. We ask that you please make sure your card is appropriate for both male or female.
- Decorated Grocery Bags - Meals are delivered in paper grocery bags - a decorated bag brightens their day. Be sure to use bags with handles!
Meals on Wheels can provide your group with grocery bags if needed! The office is closed on weekends so be sure to go before November 21st. Decorated cards and grocery bags may be dropped off the following week!
