The Lubbock Memorial Arboretum second Saturday program welcomes certified permaculture designer and local gardening expert, Kyle Tengler, as he talks about "Sustainable Vegetable Gardening" on February 8, 2014. Come learn techniques to help you design and cultivate a holistic home garden. Refreshments are served at 9:30 am and the program runs from 10:00-11:00 am.
All Lubbock Memorial Arboretum Second Saturday programs are free of charge and are held inside the Interpretive Center (the little red brick house at the Arboretum), located at 4111 University Avenue. Parking is available north of the house in the shared parking lot with Hodges Community Center.
