Please join us for the opening reception of Panhandle Protest. Panhandle Protest is a group art exhibition of protest signs and videos created in relation to the recent social uprising of 2020 after the death of George Floyd and the largest social justice movement in the history of America; the Black Lives Matter movement to end racial injustice and police brutality. Through this exhibition, the work explores the specific impacts the social uprising has made on the West Texas community at-large and surrounding communities and how many activists are continuing this conversation.
Panhandle Protest will be on display through March 5th, 2021 and viewable via our website or by stopping by Friday-Sunday 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.
