Lemonade Day Lubbock and First United Bank collaborate to bring Lubbock, Bank Loan Day! This is an exciting opportunity for children participating in Lemonade Day to secure a bank loan from First United Bank at their 4th & Frankford location. This event educates kids on how to obtain a small business loan for their lemonade stands.
During Bank Loan Day, children can create a business plan for their stand, engage with a loan officer, and apply for a small business loan of up to $40. Similar to traditional small business loans, applicants will need to pay a $1 processing fee and are expected to repay the borrowed amount by Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Additionally, the Lubbock Health Department will be on hand to issue health permits for those planning to serve hot food at their stands.
