The South Plains Food Bank, Inc. is a humanitarian resource responsible for securing, growing, processing, and distributing food to charitable organizations and persons in need. South Plains Food Bank, Inc. also strives to provide opportunities for person to break out of the poverty cycle.

What We Do

The South Plains Food Bank, Inc. is committed to alleviating hunger and giving hope to the hungry. Following their dream, a compassionate group of individuals created the South Plains Food Bank in 1983. What began as a simple project to salvage unsellable food and redistribute it to the hungry has grown into an organization on the cutting edge for innovative responses to hunger and self reliance. The South Plains Food Bank takes a proactive approach in providing for the needs of the hungry in our communities and serving as their advocate.

 

The South Plains Food Bank accepts volunteers that need to fulfill Community Service Requirements anytime during normal business hours.
