Our mission is to create job opportunities for people with barriers to employment. We are committed to helping people find jobs, whether within Goodwill itself or out in the community. We believe in the power of work, and that people should be given a hand up, not a hand out.

Goodwill’s primary efforts are aimed at training and placing people with barriers to employment in useful and productive jobs. We train employees in our office and stores to have improved work skills and experience so that they can move out into the community and obtain employment at competitive salaries.

Through our Training, Placement and Life Skills (T-PALS) program, we provide free job training and placement services as well as basic, intermediate and advanced computer classes.

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Texas is also proud to offer Document Destruction services to Lubbock and Amarillo. We are NAID and SDA compliant and have monthly pickup services available with a service agreement.
