Who We Are
Lubbock Challenger Little League is a nonprofit baseball league designed specifically for children and adults with physical and intellectual challenges. We are part of Little League’s official Challenger Division, created to ensure that every player gets the chance to experience the joy of baseball—regardless of ability.
Our league is built on inclusion, encouragement, and community. At Challenger, there are no outs, no strikeouts, and no pressure—just smiles, high-fives, teamwork, and unforgettable moments on the field.
Every player is celebrated, every effort is cheered, and every game is a win. We are powered by families, volunteers, and community partners who believe that everyone deserves a place to play.
What We Do
Lubbock Challenger Little League provides adaptive baseball opportunities in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Each season, our players take the field with the help of volunteer Challenger Buddies, coaches, and league volunteers who assist with batting, running bases, fielding, and cheering them on every step of the way.
Beyond baseball, we create:
- Confidence through achievement
- Friendships through teamwork
- Belonging through inclusion
- Joy through the simple love of the game
Our volunteers are the heart of what we do. Whether you’re on the field, helping behind the scenes, or supporting special events, you’re helping create moments that matter—for our players and their families.
At Lubbock Challenger Little League, baseball is more than a game. It’s a place where everyone belongs.
