Who We Are
The mission of Teach, Respect, Educate, Empower, Self (Trees) is to assist residents of the Eastern portion of Lubbock, Texas to achieve positive changes within themselves through education and encouragement.
Lubbock TREES has over 40 years of experiences assisting culturally diverse population in offering Social Services, Counseling, and Life Skills Management Services. TREES’ staff is uniquely qualified to provide this service in our communities-Founders, Linda Thomas possess a master’s of Social Work from Cal State San Bernardino and a Substance Abuse Disorder Certificate with Diana Shelton-Thomas holding a master’s degree in Education/Counseling and a Pupil Personal Service Certificate from the University of Redlands.
