Mural Painting Project at CASP
The mission of the Charles Adams Studio Project (CASP) is to serve as a cornerstone in the Lubbock Arts District by developing and sustaining a working artists’ community that actively engages the public with the arts. CASP works to fulfill this mission by offering classes, workshops, and a creative environment that provides access to art-making equipment as well as to private studio and public exhibition spaces.
We hope to further engage the public with the arts by hosting a mural painting project on National Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 22 from 9:00AM-12:00PM at the CASP graffiti building located at 1106 5th Street, Lubbock, TX 79401. Volunteers will work with local artists to complete the mural. No experience is necessary – we ask that you come assist us in filling in the mural outline created by the artists. The mural is Lubbock themed and we hope you can join us in creating something that the whole community will enjoy!
Please dress appropriately since you will be using paint. You can sign up here (on GetConnected) or contact CASP at info@casp-arts.org and (806) 788-1008. For more information on Charles Adams Studio Project, please visit http://casp-arts.org.
