President's Volunteer Service Award

In 2003, the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation was established to recognize volunteers and encourage more people to serve. The Council created the President's Volunteer Service Award to thank and honor volunteers who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service.

The Volunteer Center is proud to be a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Award, and we will recognize volunteers in our community who are eligible to receive the award every September. If you think you meet the criteria below, make sure you are logging your hours through our website! Adults, youth, families, and groups are all welcome to receive this award!
