Volunteers will be needed every Tuesday from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Catholic Charities of Lubbock. Volunteers will assist with a smooth, drive-through distribution—helping load food into vehicles. This is an outdoor activity and does involve some light physical work. Come be part of something meaningful each week! Interested? Preparing meals for a large group three times a day is no small task, and a shared meal can mean more than just nourishment—it creates space for rest, connection, and relationship-building. You can make a meaningful difference by providing a meal, dessert, or restaurant gift card. Your generosity gives our Houseparent's a much-needed break and allows them to focus more fully on the children in their care. How You Can Help 1. Cook in Our Kitchen - Use our newly renovated kitchen to prepare a meal onsite with your own ingredients. 2. Bring a Fully Prepared Meal - Drop off a ready-to-serve meal for the children and Houseparent's to enjoy together. 3. Sponsor a Cottage Meal Experience - Deliver a meal directly to a cottage so families can eat together in their home or invite a cottage to dine with your group in our shared dining area. Timing & Availability Volunteers may arrive as early as 4:00 PM Dinner is typically served between 5:30–6:00 PM Meals can be scheduled any night of the week (Thursdays & Fridays work best).
