Literacy Lubbock is seeking a volunteer with experience or an interest in grant writing to assist us in securing funding for our programs. As you are aware, our mission is to empower adults and families through literacy education, and grant support is crucial to maintaining the free and accessible nature of these programs for our community.

If you have a background in writing, research, or nonprofit work—or simply a passion for helping others—you could make a real impact by assisting us with grant applications. Even a few hours a month would go a long way in helping us cover program costs and expand our reach.

Join us as a Social Media Volunteer for Lubbock Lemonade Day! This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to engage with the community and promote entrepreneurship among local youth. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will be responsible for managing content across various social media platforms to raise awareness about Lemonade Day and its mission.

Key Responsibilities:

- Post engaging posts, graphics, and videos that highlight participants and their lemonade stands.
- Interact with followers, respond to comments, and encourage community engagement.
- Collaborate with the event team to share updates, success stories, and relevant information.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and reach.

Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Creative mindset.
- Passion for community involvement and youth entrepreneurship.
- Experience in social media management or marketing is a plus.

Organization photographer will take photos and videos during all  Seeds of Encouragement events.

Experience preferred.

○ Responsible for promoting the Organization’s services using online
channels.
○ Utilize various platforms like social media, search engines, email, and
websites to increase drive and interest in the organization and members
involvement.
○ Creating engaging content, running targeted campaigns, and interacting
with followers to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
○ Participating in events and potentially collaborating with others
involved in the organization.
○ Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and materials.
○ Good with a camera, video recording, and editing

Looking for someone to help find Grants and write Grants: to help the SPKF continue our education, awareness and financial assistance to those dealing with kidney disease in the Lubbock and West Texas Area.

The Lubbock Roots Historical Arts Council seeks to enrich lives in our community by promoting a greater understanding of the African American experience through the arts and through the study, interpretation and preservation of the history of African Americans. We can't do it without your help!

We need help with various operational tasks, such as assist with taking minutes at our monthly meetings and helping with communication 

We need help updating and maintaining our Roots website.

We need help writing grants for various funding opportunities throughout the year.

We need help maintaining this wonderful garden. 

A website manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and administration of organization's website. Ensure that the website is up to date, engaging, and meets organization's goals and user needs. Perform a range of tasks to ensure the website is functional, easy for users to navigate, and represents organization well.

Must be 18 years old.

Must have at least 1 year experience creating websites and managing websites Background required.
