Needs From: Volunteer Center of Lubbock

○ Supports the organization's Morale Chair, in managing students and
volunteers birthday reminders and staff’s work anniversary tasks and
ensuring proper encouragement and positive environment.

○ May involve duties such as preparing games and tasks for any and all
events (for staff and student’s)
○ Maintaining a positive and uplifting mood and work space for all
involved with the program
○ Assisting with communication among board members and others
involved with the organization.
○ May also be involved in other tasks, such as creating games for
meetings, making/creating “icebrakers”, or assisting with fundraising
efforts.
○ In essence, the morale chair assistant acts as a key support person for
the Morale Chair, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning
of the organization's positive build and the wellbeing of all those in the
program.
○ Help the Morale Chair ensure everyone is seen, heard, and knows they
have a purpose/ value in life as well as in the organization.
○ Participating in events and potentially collaborating with others
involved in the organization.

○ Researching and contacting potential venues.
○ Assisting with the creation of event timelines and schedules.
○ Coordinating catering and other vendor services.
○ Managing event registration and attendee lists.
○ Providing on-site support during events, such as setting up registration
tables or directing attendees.
○ Handling post-event tasks, such as compiling event reports and
managing invoices.
○ Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and materials.
○ Participating in events and potentially collaborating with others
involved in the organization.

○ Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing fundraising
campaigns to secure financial support.

○ Cultivate relationships with donors
○ Manage fundraising events
○ Ensure that fundraising goals are met
○ Track fundraising progress, manage budgets, and ensure accurate
recording of donations.
○ Supervise and support fundraising volunteers, providing training and
guidance.
○ Participating in events and potentially collaborating with others
involved in the organization.

○ Supports the public relations and marketing team by:
○ Handling administrative tasks, creating content, and assisting with
campaign execution.
○ Help with media relations, social media management, event
coordination, and content creation
○ Also tracking campaign performance and reporting on results.
○ Providing general support to the PR and marketing team, assisting with
various tasks as needed.
○ Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet
deadlines.
○ Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and materials.
○ Participating in events and potentially collaborating with others
involved in the organization.

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is highly effective and ensures meaningful parent engagement, develops parent leadership skills, and supports our Program’s success.  

Our non-profit organization is currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to fill the role of Secretary and assistant secretary. As a vital member of our team, the Secretary will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative functions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask effectively.

The Secretary will be responsible for managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining accurate records. They will also be responsible for coordinating with other members of our team to ensure that our programs and events run smoothly.
