Volunteer: Weekend Ride Volunteers Needed – Compass Program

Our Compass young adults (ages 18–21) are working hard—literally. Many of them are employed on weekends and currently spending a significant amount of money on ride shares just to get to and from work.

We’re looking for volunteers willing to help provide rides on Saturdays and Sundays, anytime between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, as needs arise. Rides are scheduled as needed—there is no weekly commitment required.

Compass is our independent living program, designed to support young adults as they transition into adulthood. Having reliable transportation is vital—their jobs matter and arriving safely and on time is essential for their success.

By offering a ride, you’re doing more than just driving:

- You’re helping a young adult keep their job

- You’re helping them save money for essentials like food, bills, and future goals

- You’re being a huge blessing during a critical season of life

For the safety of our young adults, all ride volunteers are required to provide proof of insurance and complete a background check.

If you’re interested in helping—even occasionally—please reach out or comment below, and we’ll connect with you. Thank you for being part of the village that supports our Compass young adults

Inkind: Helping Children's Home Through your Gifts

We can always take gently-used clothing, toiletry items, and household items for all ages. We work to provide the children we serve with all their needs, all the way up until they move to living independently!

Contact us so we can make arrangements to have the items picked up or dropped off. Let us know if you would like to organize a drive and we can give you a list of items we are in need of at that time.

We also have an Amazon Wish List if you would like to help us out in that way: https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https://loom.ly/YWZ2dpI&c=E,1,hvpAbkDHkxGvjNg0yVZbsOkrognMJhrecKuJ5L7h8yRyr5gcz-eKNJ2llI3KVrvPA2WNLNX3sfB2ro80zYEg3ThxLN-KT0eXkv2Zl7YUZl24WfwDF6UEtG4,&typo=1

Volunteer: Sponsor a Cottage Meal at the Children’s Home

Our campus is home to group residential cottages where children live and are cared for 24/7 by dedicated Houseparent's.

Preparing meals for a large group three times a day is no small task, and a shared meal can mean more than just nourishment—it creates space for rest, connection, and relationship-building.

You can make a meaningful difference by providing a meal, dessert, or restaurant gift card. Your generosity gives our Houseparent's a much-needed break and allows them to focus more fully on the children in their care.

How You Can Help

1. Cook in Our Kitchen - Use our newly renovated kitchen to prepare a meal onsite with your own ingredients.

2. Bring a Fully Prepared Meal - Drop off a ready-to-serve meal for the children and Houseparent's to enjoy together.

3. Sponsor a Cottage Meal Experience - Deliver a meal directly to a cottage so families can eat together in their home or invite a cottage to dine with your group in our shared dining area.

Timing & Availability

Volunteers may arrive as early as 4:00 PM Dinner is typically served between 5:30–6:00 PM

Meals can be scheduled any night of the week (Thursdays & Fridays work best).

If you’d like to bless one of our cottages with a meal, we would love to hear from you. Thank you for helping create moments of rest, connection, and care.
