Open Door is looking for someone who cares deeply about community, relationships, and the work of ending homelessness in Lubbock.

Recurring volunteers are a vital part of the work we do at Open Door. Whether serving weekly or monthly recurring volunteers help create consistency, build relationships, and meet ongoing practical needs throughout our ministry. Opportunities may include organizing donations, preparing spaces, serving community members, helping with community projects, administrative support, and more. We believe meaningful change happens through consistent presence, and recurring volunteers play a huge role in making that possible.

Each month, Open Door provides essential hygiene support to 125 + households in our Supportive and Survivor Housing programs. These everyday items like soap, shampoo, and deodorant make a powerful difference in our neighbors' health, dignity, and confidence. But keeping our hygiene shelves full is always a challenge. That's where you come in! We would love for you to host a donation drive at your church, place of business, or with your friend group. Here are some of our most needed items.

New Hair Products (combs, brushes, etc)

You are welcome to deliver the hygiene items to our campus at 1918 13th street or give us a call and we'll do a porch pick-up. Thank you for your support of our work with people in poverty, homelessness, and sex trafficking.
