Volunteer: Volunteer Mentors NeededAre you ready to make a lasting impact and help shape the future of a child or teen? The Community Youth Development Program is looking for passionate volunteers to join our Mentor Program and help guide, support, and inspire the next generation. By volunteering, you’ll have the chance to build a meaningful connection with a young person, instill confidence, and empower them to reach their full potential. It's a rewarding experience where you not only make a difference in their lives but also grow personally! Time Commitment: One year, meeting twice a month Meeting Dates: 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Location: YWCA of Lubbock, 6501 University Ave. We’re looking for individuals who are patient, compassionate, and dependable—someone who truly cares about making a positive impact. While prior experience with children or teens is helpful, it’s not required. If you’re eager to support and guide a young person, we’d love to have you! Comprehensive training and materials for each mentoring session Ongoing support to ensure you and your mentee have a successful and fulfilling relationship The joy of transforming lives and building a stronger community Volunteers must be 18 years or older Background check and fingerprints are required Mandatory trainings required Ready to make a difference?
