Needs From: Volunteer Center of Lubbock

Looking to make a lasting impact in a child’s life? 
YWCA of Lubbock is seeking volunteers for our mentor program.

Time Commitment: Year commitment, once a month
Meeting Date Opportunities: 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Location: YWCA - 6501 University Ave. 

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and dependable. Experience working with children or teens is a plus! Volunteers must be 18 years or older. A background check/fingerprints are required. We provide training and materials for each mentoring session to ensure a successful mentor/mentee relationship.

YWCA is hiring part-time YWCAre staff. Hours are 3-6 p.m., Monday through Friday, but we can work around your schedule! YWCAre is a licensed after-school program at area schools. For more information, visit our website
