Needs From: Volunteer Center of Lubbock

We are needing volunteers for StoryFest, a reading event on Saturday at the YWCA from 10am-2pm. We are excited to invite you to be part of Story Fest, taking place on Saturday, April 11th from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the YWCA on University Avenue. Story Fest is a family-friendly literacy event designed to promote early childhood education and kindergarten readiness in a fun and engaging way.Throughout the day, we will host read-aloud story times for families with children from infancy through 4th grade. Each will be paired with a hands-on craft or activity that supports early learning. We are especially excited that characters from PBS will be joining us for each story time, bringing beloved stories to life for the children and families in attendance.Volunteer sign-up sheet for individual volunteers is below.
