United Blood Services is excited to announce our annual Battle of the Badges First Responders Appreciation Event, which is a contest between the Lubbock Police Department and Fire Rescue to increase blood donations in the community. We would love for you (plus family and friends) to come out on July 23rd to support this event, where we will have all sorts of recreational activities, including a bouncy house, water stations, refreshments, plus much more! If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please consider the following information:
- Volunteers can help monitor the bouncy house, gather trash, and refill the water stations.
- While the event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we could use help from volunteers starting at 9:30 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.
- You are welcome to help out during the entire event, or in increments of time.
- If you plan to stay for a certain time slot, please let United Blood Services know ahead of time so that we can make plans accordingly.
