The Lubbock Arts Festival is the largest fine art, fine craft event in West Texas with attendance expected to exceed 30,000 this year. The event offers visual art, performing art, and children’s art for the very affordable general admission price of $4 for adults, $2 for children under 12. It is at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, located at 1501 Mac Davis Ln.
Literacy Lubbock will host a booth this year at the Lubbock Arts Festival. We could use help with carnival games, story time, and art activities. Volunteers will help assist at the booths!
Volunteers serve in shifts. We have filled some shifts but still need volunteers for the following times:
Saturday, April 13 --- 10:00am-11:30am
Saturday, April 13 --- 11:30am-1:00pm
Saturday, April 13 --- 1:00pm-2:30pm
Saturday, April 13 --- 2:30pm-4:00pm
