Join us on Wednesday, August 12th from 9:30-10:30am to do some trash pick up in our newly repaved parking lot at the Resale Center. The West Texas wind brings trash into our parking lot regularly and with our store staff staying extra busy with additional cleaning happening inside the store, they would appreciate the help outside.
Some requirements for our volunteers to help keep our volunteers safe:
1.All volunteers (2+) need to wear a mask the entire time we are voluntering together.
2. Inviduals and family groups need to help keep distance from others during volunteering.
We'll also be limiting the volunteers between 15-20 people.
We will be working outside and have plenty of space to keep physically distant from one another, but we need our volunteers to help make sure we are protecting one another.
We will be providing trash bags and have some gloves available, but ask people to bring their own reusable work/garden gloves if they are able.
This event is open to all ages but minors will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Please dress for the weather and bring water with you. It will probably be in the 70s or 80s at that time in the morning. If it storms, we will cancel.
