Room Host
The Room Host helps create a welcoming, organized, and engaging environment for every breakout session. As the primary volunteer assigned to a classroom, you'll help attendees feel welcome while supporting the speaker and ensuring sessions run smoothly.
This role is perfect for volunteers who are friendly, dependable, attentive to detail, and enjoy interacting with people.
Responsibilities:
Welcome attendees as they arrive.
Greet the speaker and assist with any immediate needs.
Help attendees find seating and maintain room capacity.
Provide time cues to help speakers stay on schedule.
Assist with audience questions or session logistics.
Report any facility or technical issues to the event team.
Help prepare the room between sessions when needed.
Keep the room organized and ready for each presentation.
