We are seeking adult volunteers to assist with the Summer Inter-Program Adults event by helping organize clothing donations, supporting guests in the clothing closet, sorting items, and creating a welcoming and positive environment for community members. Volunteers will play an important role in serving individuals and families in need while making a meaningful impact in the Lubbock community.
All volunteers working around youth or children must successfully pass a background check before participating. The safety of our youth is a top priority.
The following behaviors or history will not be accepted when working with children or youth participants:
- Any violent criminal offenses
- Child abuse or neglect charges
- Sexual offenses or misconduct
- Drug-related offenses involving minors
- Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behavior toward youth
- Possession of weapons during volunteer activities
- Use of alcohol or illegal substances during events
- Inappropriate language, discrimination, or disrespectful conduct
- Any behavior that places youth safety or well-being at risk
No experience is required to volunteer — we simply ask for individuals who are dependable, respectful, positive role models, and committed to creating a safe environment for all participants.
