About:

The Whitacre College of Engineering is looking for referees for the West Texas Championship FIRST Tech Challenge robotics competition on February 17th at Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School.

Referees help keep track of the game and enforce robot and game rules as needed.

Robotics experience is not required and we encourage people from a variety of backgrounds and skills to participate.

All volunteers do have to sign up with FIRST to volunteer and go through screening to ensure our students are safe at competition. Food will ne provided and certificates can be issued to those who volunteer.
