Job Description Curriculum development: Create and deliver age-appropriate art lessons aligned with school standards, covering topics like drawing, painting, sculpting, mixed media, and basic art history. Hands-on instruction: Guide students through various art techniques using different materials like paints, clay, pencils, and digital tools, demonstrating proper usage and safety procedures. Individualized learning: Assess student abilities and provide tailored support to cater to diverse learning styles and artistic interests. Project-based learning: Design and facilitate creative art projects that encourage exploration and expression, allowing students to develop artistic concepts and problem-solving skills. Assessment and feedback: Evaluate student artwork regularly, providing constructive feedback to promote growth and development. Classroom management: Maintain a positive and organized art environment, ensuring students are engaged, following safety guidelines, and respecting materials. Art exhibitions: Organize and curate student art displays to showcase their work to the school community (when applicable)Collaboration: Work with other art teachers to integrate art ideas (if available)Parent communication: Regularly update parents on student progress and involve them in art-related activities.
