We’re gearing up for our upcoming 3v3 fundraiser and we need an amazing team of volunteers to help make it all happen!

This event supports Redemption Way’s mission to serve survivors of domestic violence and provide education for teens in our community, so every role makes a real impact.

Each month, Open Door provides essential hygiene support to 125 + households in our Supportive and Survivor Housing programs. These everyday items like soap, shampoo, and deodorant make a powerful difference in our neighbors' health, dignity, and confidence. But keeping our hygiene shelves full is always a challenge. That's where you come in! We would love for you to host a donation drive at your church, place of business, or with your friend group. Here are some of our most needed items.

Bar soap or body wash

2-in-1 shampoo + conditioner

Deodorant

New Hair Products (combs, brushes, etc)

You are welcome to deliver the hygiene items to our campus at 1918 13th street or give us a call and we'll do a porch pick-up. Thank you for your support of our work with people in poverty, homelessness, and sex trafficking.

SPECIFIC NEEDS WE HAVE: Dental Procedure After-Care Bags

As patients come to the Lubbock Impact no-cost dental clinic to have a tooth extracted, they receive a dental care bag of soft food items to aide in their after-procedure care. 

We are in need of items for these care bags:

- individual mashed potato cups

- pudding cups

- travel-sized toothpaste

- instant oatmeal packets

- applesauce cups

- mini-Gatorade

We can always take gently-used clothing, toiletry items, and household items for all ages. We work to provide the children we serve with all their needs, all the way up until they move to living independently!

If you are doing some early spring cleaning - save those old short sleeve shirts for us! We can use these to make dog toys for several of our Agency Partners!

These are the things our kids need today. If you’ve been wondering how to help in a simple but powerful way, our current needs list is a great place to start. Thank you for showing up for our kids in such practical, life-giving ways. 

Did you end the holidays with extra wrapping paper, bows, bags, and boxes? We’d love to put it to good use! We’re collecting unused or gently used wrapping supplies left over from the holiday season.  Donated items will be used to wrap gifts for the children and families we serve, helping make their holiday season feel special and celebrated.

Your post-holiday donations help us stay stocked and ready for upcoming celebrations and holidays. What might be leftover in your closet can become part of a meaningful moment for a family in our programs.

Our Community Market provides families with essential household items at no cost. Every other month, families in the community can shop with dignity for the items they need most, from cleaning supplies and household essentials to personal care products. Your donations help make this possible! Every contribution goes directly to supporting local families and keeping our market stocked.

Literacy Lubbock is seeking a volunteer with experience or an interest in grant writing to assist us in securing funding for our programs. As you are aware, our mission is to empower adults and families through literacy education, and grant support is crucial to maintaining the free and accessible nature of these programs for our community.

If you have a background in writing, research, or nonprofit work—or simply a passion for helping others—you could make a real impact by assisting us with grant applications. Even a few hours a month would go a long way in helping us cover program costs and expand our reach.

Please donate new Christmas cards to the Stockings project. These Christmas cards, with encouraging messages written inside, will be stuffed inside of the stockings being sent to our US military.

Also, please save and donate any Christmas cards you have received to be used for decorating the stockings and making handmade cards.  Gold, silver, green, and red glitter glue is used to attach the pictures from the (used) Christmas cards onto the denim, or in making homemade cards. Donations of glitter glue would be very welcome!

Seeking male and female volunteers to help serve lunch for youth in junior high school, 2–4 times per month. Volunteers will be partnering with Brittany and Devin’s Angels, which has an MOU with local communities, schools, and Lubbock ISD.

Caring for up to 40 kids on our campus at any given time, basic supplies like paper towels are in high demand.  Help us restock our commissary and keep our campus clean.  Donations of paper towels can be dropped off at 4404 Idalou Rd.  Drive straight forward to the large parking lot and follow donation signs for guidance.  Call 806-762-0481 with any questions.  Thank you!

To help maintain clinical integrity, please make sure that all items are new and in original packaging. Wish list donations can be brought to Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.

Stock our Freezer - Our amazing volunteers and friends provide meals each day for the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald House. It takes away the worry and hassle of food preparation so that the families can give all of their energy and attention to their child.

GESC is looking for volunteers to help in our warehouse and store to sort, organize, hang, and price merchandise. We welcome groups or individuals who would be willing to do this on a regular basis.  Please contact Tanya for further questions at 806-744-4416 for more information. Thank you!

During this time we have had to take necessary precautions to protect our clients' health and safety. For the time being we will not be able to allow groups to serve on campus. Because of this, our need for meals for our clients has greatly increased. 

**PLEASE do not prepare food if you are sick or even think you might possibly be coming down with something (we would rather you cancel last minute). We are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 in our community and will send out communication when this changes.    

One of the things we really miss during this time is all the smiling faces and encouraging words of our amazing volunteers. We typically have over 100 volunteers coming through our gates every week to serve on campus. This has all been halted due to the impact of COVID-19. Our hope is that you might take a moment and share some encouragement for everyone at Grace Campus. Consider making encouraging cards or posters for our residents. These messages will be hung up throughout the campus.

Housing an average of 74+ people at any given time, we go through a lot of consumables.  This can become very expensive.  We do not request or receive government money so our budget is very tight.  Any supplies donated are greatly needed and appreciated. During these challenging times, our needs have greatly increased. We are currently needing the following items:

- Take-Out / To-Go containers (including soup containers) with lids - due to social distancing orders, we are not able to serve group meals, so we are currently pre-packaging individual meals for our residents

- Bottled water

- Toilet paper and paper towels

- White paint and large paint rollers and /or brushes - for exterior and interior paint projects

- Cleaning supplies

- Hanging racks for our Clothing Closet
