Looking for a meaningful way to give back to the Lubbock community?

Refuge Services is seeking dedicated volunteers (ages 16 and up) who want to make a real impact. Whether you're a student gaining experience or simply someone with a heart to serve, there’s a place for you here.

Our community is at the center of everything we do. Because of their support, we’re able to walk alongside individuals and families with care, consistency, and compassion. Every hour you give helps create a safe and welcoming environment for those we serve.

Volunteer opportunities vary and can include assisting during client sessions, helping care for our facilities and horse stalls, or supporting day-to-day operations. No matter where you serve, your role makes a difference.

There is always meaningful work to be done—and we would love for you to be part of it.

Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closed weekends

Refuge is open 8 am-7 pm Monday through Thursday, 8 am-5 pm on Friday, we are closed on weekends. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 4 hours a week.
