Volunteer: Provide Meals for Our Children and FamiliesOur Houseparents work hard day and night to make sure our kids receive the very best care. Cooking for a large group 3 times a day can get very tiresome. Making a meal, dessert, or giving them a gift card to a restaurant allows them to focus less on cooking and more on their relationships with the kids. You can prepare a meal in our newly renovated kitchen using your own ingredients. Alternatively, you can bring a fully prepared meal for the children and their families to enjoy. Meal Delivery Options: Deliver meals directly to our cottages so the children and families can eat together in their homes.Invite the children and their families to join your volunteer group for dinner in our shared dining area.Timing: Volunteers can arrive as early as 4:00 PM to prepare or set up, with dinner served at 5:30 or 6:00 PM.While we can accommodate meals any night of the week, Thursdays or Fridays typically work best for our schedule.
