Peer Parent Supporters assist parents with setting and achieving family strengthening goals. The objective of the Peer Parent Supporter is to provide all parents with resources to accomplish their individual goals toward strengthening their family. Peer Parent Supporters are apart of Strengthening Families. The Strengthening Families Program is a 9-session, evidence-based parenting skills, children’s social skills, and family life skills training program specifically designed for high-risk and general population families. Peer Parent Supporters are also trained to co-facilitate these workshops.
