The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a 9-session, evidence-based parenting skills, children’s social skills, and family life skills training program specifically designed for high-risk and general population families.
Participating in all 9-sessions is recommended.
Parents who commit to attending all 9 sessions will be assigned a peer supporter and given various resources suiting their individual family needs.
SFP is effective because it was specifically crafted to increase Protective Factors and reduce the Risk Factors that lead to both substance abuse and depression in youth.
Lunch, child-care, transportation assistance, and virtual options are all offered.
