Need a perfect new year's resolution? How about showcasing your artwork in East Lubbock Art House!! ELAH is now accepting proposal submissions for our Vivian T. Cooke Art Exhibition Series. There's a $500 stipend, professional development, and a change to host a 2-month showcase with us. Deadline to submit: Jan 31st @ midnight.
Submission Requirements: Please submit these requirements to eastlubbockarthouse@gmail.com with the subject line "ELAH Art Exhibition Proposal"
- 8-10 images of artwork to be showcased (that means different images of different works, not a bunch of images of one artwork WE WANT TO SEE A VARIETY OF YOUR WORK)
- Artist Statement (if you've never written one before, Google 'how to write an artist statement')
- Proposal of Community Engagement Project (as apart of your exhibition, you'll be asked to do a project of your liking that is free to the public and invites community members to learn about your work and/or contribute to society alongside you): this could be an art class, artist talk, mural, care packages, committing to volunteer hours, etc.
