Description

The Science Spectrum is currently recruiting volunteers for our Spring exhibition, Butterflies ALIVE!, an indoor tropical garden with hundreds of free flying native and exotic butterflies. Both long-term and short-term volunteers are needed. Long-term volunteers will assist with school and special groups by acting as tour guides, and all volunteers will act as exhibit monitors and ticket takers. Numerous volunteers for these opportunities are needed, and scheduling will be based on individual’s availability. 3-4 volunteers are needed for manning the exhibit at all times, so you may sign up for multiple shifts. Group signups are available as well. Shift times are as follows:

Monday-Friday (excluding Spring Break week)

9:45-12:15

12:15-2:45

2:45-5:15

Saturdays (and Spring Break Week)

9:45-12:30

12:30-3:15

3:15-6:15

Sundays (excluding Spring Break Week)

12:45-3:00

3:00-5:15

Please specify your preferred day and shift time when you sign up. Thank you.
