Who We Are
The Buddy Holly Center, a historical site, has dual missions; preserving, collecting and promoting the legacy of Buddy Holly and the music of Lubbock and West Texas, as well as providing exhibits on contemporary visual arts and music, for the purpose of educating and entertaining the public. Our vision is to promote the life and legacy of Buddy Holly by celebrating culture and community.
What We Do
The Buddy Holly Center educates about history, music, and the contemporary visual arts. We provide field trips at the Center and travel across West Texas to provide outreach programs at schools. We also offer public programs, events, and a rotating Fine Arts Gallery where artists can display their works.
