National Days of Service
Global Youth Service Day inspires and empowers all ages of volunteers, not just youth, to get active in the community by giving back! Click the tab above labeled "National Days of Service" to sign up to participate in projects on this year's Global Youth Service Day, Saturday, April 27th.
President's Volunteer Service Award
We believe it is important to honor the dedicated volunteers of our community for all of the service they do. The President's Volunteer Service Award was established in 2003 to recognize volunteers and to encourage more people to serve. Recognition for this award includes the official pin, a personalized certificate of achievement, and a congratulatory letter from the president of the United States! In order to be eligible to receive this award, the Volunteer Center of Lubbock encourages volunteers to track their hours using the Get Connected site.
